We are broadcasting not only in the Spanish language but also one of the Indian dialects. It is the first station ever to broadcast in the dialect. The Indians are very excited about this. Many who do not speak Spanish deep into the jungle are hearing the gospel for the first time.
Radio Vida is the only radio station that has broken into the red zone of Colombia. This is the drug cartel territory. There are no police stations in that area and no churches. The drug cartel own and run everything in that area.
We are in great anticipation since the announcement that the American
government will build and occupy 7 military bases in Colombia. One of them
will be IN the red zone. Their presence will finally allow the people of Colombia to be able to have a choice in their future. God is so good!
We are still in need of a back up transmitter. Please keep this in your hearts and prayers. We want to be certain that there will be no "down" time in airing the gospel ....especially as the day grows nearer.
